Masquerade Gala
"One night. Two hundred masks. The palazzo where Wagner died and the city still gambles."
The weekend
Once a year during Carnevale, the Casinò di Venezia — Ca' Vendramin Calergi, the oldest gaming house in the world — opens its piano nobile for a single black-tie evening. We book the palazzo end to end.
The night begins with a private water-taxi arrival on the Grand Canal, a Bellini in the Sala di Wagner, and a five-course dinner with the Ridotto's original silver. After midnight the mask goes on and the gaming rooms open — roulette, chemin de fer, and a single blackjack table run by the house's senior croupier.
This is the shortest event we run and the hardest to get into. If your name is not on the list at the water-gate, no one will find it for you.
