Last updated: 15 April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how WORK STEP Sp. z o.o., registered at Ul. Solipska 3-5, 02-482 Warszawa, Polska ("we", "us", "the operator"), the operating company behind The Continental Circuit, collects and processes personal data when you visit this website, request a nomination, or attend one of our events.
This page is maintained by WORK STEP Sp. z o.o. to answer common privacy questions about The Continental Circuit. It is not an independent verification or a certification.
1. Controller
The data controller is WORK STEP Sp. z o.o., Ul. Solipska 3-5, 02-482 Warszawa, Polska. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to contact@workstep.com.pl.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:
- Identity data — full name, date of birth (for age verification), nationality, and, where required by a venue, government-issued ID details.
- Contact data — email address, phone number, correspondence address.
- Nomination data — the name of a referring member, a short letter of introduction, and any professional context you choose to share.
- Event data — dietary requirements, dress preferences, travel details you share to help us coordinate arrivals.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device and referrer, collected when you visit this website.
We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18.
3. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Consent — when you send us a message through the contact form.
- Contract — when we prepare and deliver an event you are attending.
- Legal obligation — anti-money-laundering, tax, and record-keeping duties under Polish and EU law.
- Legitimate interests — running a members list, evaluating nominations, and keeping our website secure.
4. How we use the data
We use your data to reply to correspondence, evaluate nominations, coordinate attendance at events, meet legal obligations, and improve the operation of our circuit. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling for advertising.
5. Who sees it
Your data may be shared with:
- Venue operators of the specific event you attend, strictly to the extent required by the venue's own admission and compliance rules.
- Professional advisers (legal, tax, accounting) bound by confidentiality.
- IT service providers who host the website and our internal systems, under written data-processing agreements.
- Public authorities where disclosure is required by applicable law.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
6. International transfers
Our events take place across the European Economic Area (Monaco, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, and elsewhere). Data transfers within the EEA are governed by the GDPR. Where a transfer outside the EEA is unavoidable (for example a hotel in a non-EEA venue), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another mechanism permitted by Chapter V GDPR.
7. Retention
Nomination correspondence is kept for up to 3 years after the last exchange. Event participation records are kept for 5 years after the event, as required by Polish tax and AML law. Website technical logs are kept for up to 12 months. Once these periods expire the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@workstep.com.pl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data — encrypted transport, access controls, and a limited number of staff cleared to view member records. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever become aware of a breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required by law.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the last revision. Material changes will be flagged when you next contact us.
