The Continental Circuit began as a private weekend in Baden-Baden, put together by a group of friends who had grown tired of the noise around the game. Sixty guests, one long table, and a house rule that has not changed since: nobody plays who has not been vouched for.

The rest of the calendar took shape slowly. Monte-Carlo agreed to host the following spring on condition that we bring our own dealers and pay the room in advance. Prague was added later for the players who wanted a full week of cash rather than a weekend of tournament. Venice came last — a single February night once a year, and the hardest room in Europe to book.

We do not sell press access. We do not run livestreams. We do not publish results. What happens in the room stays there because everyone at the table has a professional reason to prefer it that way.

Who runs it

The operating company is WORK STEP Sp. z o.o., registered at Ul. Solipska 3-5, 02-482 Warszawa, Poland. A small permanent team handles venues, the members list, and floor operations; on event weekends we bring in a rotating crew of about thirty — dealers, croupiers, a chef, a doctor, and drivers.

What we don't do

• Online play, satellite qualifiers, or cross-promotion with online rooms.
• Public tournament reporting or hand histories.
• Sponsorship placement at the tables — no patches, no branding.
• More than four weekends a year. Ever.
