Riviera Invitational
"Three evenings on the Côte d'Azur, one seat at the oldest table in Europe."
The Riviera Invitational is a closed-door weekend built around the Salle Blanche — the room where the first roulette wheel of Monte-Carlo turned in 1863. Ninety-six seats, three sessions, one champagne breakfast on the terrace overlooking the harbour.
Guests arrive Friday afternoon and are met by a private concierge. The tournament proper begins after sunset, in dinner jackets, under the same frescoes that once watched Onassis play. Between hands, the Salle des Amériques stays open for cash play and the hotel bar keeps a house tab.
Seats are extended by nomination. If you have not been to a Riviera weekend before, a member must vouch for you — the paperwork is handled quietly and in advance.
