The weekend
Prague in December is cold, cheap for the calibre, and taken seriously by professionals. Our week at the Grandior runs uninterrupted cash games at seven stake levels, plus two mid-week tournaments and one high-roller freezeout on the closing Saturday.
The King's Hall is set up with private tables for stakes above €25/50. Everything below runs in the open room. Rake is capped; hourly rates for dealers and floor are published on the entry desk.
We keep a house doctor on call, a nutritionist for players staying the full week, and a driver from the airport for anyone arriving after midnight. Nothing dramatic — just the things that go wrong at 3 a.m.
